Inside the fortresses and the surrounding walls of the medieval towns, the “postierla” is the smallest door and hidden way of entrance to the town. The entrance of this room, in fact, is through a door that is narrow and little, respect to the others. The entrance is from a balcony that is common to the room next-door: L’Altana. From the balcony (and also from the internal window) there is a nice view on the court, the pool of the castle and the countryside.
